JOHN KRUSE
PROJECT ENGINEER
PRIOR EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Artes Design Build, John worked exclusively in the luxury home market in West LA as a Project Manager for several local builders. Acting as Project Manager, he completed homes on Thrasher, Blue Jay Way, Flicker and Bel Air Road.
Before launching his construction career, John was a Petty Officer, 3rd Class in the United States Navy where he learned the value of working as a team player to complete complex assignments. He worked as a fire team member on the USS Iwo Jima, conducted maintenance on over 1,200 pieces of firefighting equipment, and successfully completed multiple deployments and evaluations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AT ARTES

John’s serves as the vital link between what is happening daily in the field and our outside consultants and vendors. He works side by side with the Project Superintendent to trouble shoot issues in the field and find realistic and cost-effective solutions. He is highly competent with the sophisticated construction management software required to navigate our fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include project management, construction scheduling, daily logs, security, scopes of work, management of the bidding process, initiating and resolving RFI’s.
